The 2021 National Life Science Competition for College Students has now ended. The teachers and students from the College of Life and Environment Sciences taking part in this competition overcame all sorts of difficulties and made great achievements.

With the unremitting efforts of all the students and guidance from instructors, the team led by teachers Haibin Tong and Zhijun Zhao from the College of Life and Environment Sciences won national top prize, team led by teacher Qiongzhen Chen won national second prize, and team led by Lingzhou Cui won national third prize! During the 2021 National Life Science Competition for College Students, Wenzhou University has won two national top prizes, one national second prize and won national third prize.

The great results achieved in the competition fully demonstrated the continuous and steady improvement of the science research capability and competitiveness of the College of Life and Environment Sciences. The College of Life and Environment Sciences always attaches great importance to cultivating students’ scientific research ability and always endeavors to establish a strong learning atmosphere to encourage academic exchanges and interactions. The achievements made in this competition are proof for the scientific research strength of the College of Life and Environment Sciences. In the meantime, the great success has also motivated students’ innovative spirit, boosted students’ practical competence, and greatly enhanced students’ team spirit, which is of great significance for training talents with practical and applied skills.
